1991 Cruciformed: Images of the cross since 1980

Rubin was awarded Northern Ohio LIVE magazine’s Award of Achievement in Visual Arts for this groundbreaking exhibition that looked at artists’ use of the cross in a variety of categories: literal crosses, crucifixions, abstract crosses, appropriated crosses, emblematic crosses, and crosses in the television age. The exhibition traveled to three other venues.
